Along paints the picture of two lonely souls who long to meet another. Jerking, jerking, they carefully try to throw off their self-erected shield. But then it turns out that if you manage to get together, you can still live at cross purposes…
Along is a kaleidoscopic portrait of a relationship in which the battle between staying true to oneself and the desire to surrender is brought to a theatrical head. Juggling, (air) acrobatics, magic, dance and theater. Harm van der Laan and Maartje Bonarius ensure that loneliness has never looked so spectacular.
